1. Service Description

Short Cut Creator is a web-based software service ("SaaS") that enables users to create short-form vertical videos from source video content. The service uses AI to identify clips, generate captions, and produce rendered video shorts.

2. Account and Eligibility

You may use the free tier without creating an account. To access paid features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use paid services.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
• Your subscription renews automatically each billing period unless canceled.
• Prices are in US Dollars (USD).
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

4. Refund Policy

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with the service, contact us within 7 days of your most recent payment. We will review your request and may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed for usage that has already consumed significant processing resources.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription page. After cancellation:

• You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
• After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier.
• Existing projects and shorts are retained but subject to free tier limits for new actions.
• You may reactivate your subscription at any time before the billing period ends.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to process content you do not have rights to
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Use automated tools to abuse the service beyond normal usage
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the service
• Resell access to the service without authorization

7. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you process through the service. You represent that you have the necessary rights or licenses to use any source videos. You may not use the service to process, create, or distribute content that is illegal, sexually explicit, obscene, or that depicts or promotes violence, abuse, exploitation, or harm to any person. Short Cut Creator reserves the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice or refund. Short Cut Creator does not claim ownership of your content. We are not responsible for copyright claims arising from your use of the service.

8. Third-Party Platform Uploads

Short Cut Creator allows you to connect third-party accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Google Drive, Dropbox, and others) to publish content directly from the service. When you use these features:

• You are responsible for complying with the terms of service and content policies of each platform you upload to.
• You authorize Short Cut Creator to upload content to your connected accounts on your behalf.
• Short Cut Creator is not responsible for content removal, account actions, or policy violations imposed by third-party platforms.
• You may disconnect any platform at any time, which immediately revokes our access to that account.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

Short Cut Creator is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the service or email.
